वि.सं. २०७३ सालमा ‘न्यू नेपाल कृषि केन्द्र’ नामक संस्था दर्ता गरि २०७५ सालदेखि एहशानले व्यवसायिक माछापालन थालेका हुन । यसअघि उनका बुबाले सो व्यावसाय सञ्चालन गर्दै आएका थिए । व्यावसायिक माछापालनका लागी एहशानले ५ बिघा क्षेत्रफलमध्ये २ बिघामा ह्याचरी र लाईभ फिस ह्याण्डलिङ प्लाण्टसहित ९ वटा पोखरी निमार्ण गरेका छन् । हाल उनको पोखरीमा मागुर, पङ्गास र कमनकार्प लगायत विभिन्न प्रजातिका माछाहरु रहेका छन् । माछाप्रति ग्राहकको आर्कषण र चाप पनि उत्तिकै रहेको एहशानको भनाई छ ।
एहशानले माछापालनका साथसाथै माछाको भूरा पनि उत्पादन गर्दै आएका छन् । बार्षिक २ लाख रुँपैया बराबरको माछाको भुरा मात्र उत्पादन हुने गरेको युवा व्यावसायी एहशान बताउँछन । एहशानले माछाको भूरा उत्पादन गर्न र व्यवसायिक रूपमा माछा बिक्री गर्न दुई छुट्टाछुट्टै पोखरी समेत तयार पारेका छन् । माछाको भूरा प्रशोधन गर्नका लागि कङक्रिटको छुट्टै पोखरी पनि निमार्ण गरिएको छ ।
८ दिन प्रशोधन गरेपछि माछाको भूरा बिक्रीको लागि तयार हुन्छ । एक लटमा ८० हजार भूरा उत्पादन हुने गरेको उनको भनाई छ । उनले उत्पादन गरेको भूरा माछा पुर्वमा झापादेखि पश्चिममा विरगञ्जसम्मका कृषि फर्महरुले खरिद गरेर लाने गरेका छन् । उत्पादित माछाको भूरा, साईज अनुसार न्युनतम ५ रुपैयाँदेखि ७ रूपैयाँ प्रतिगोटा सम्म बिक्री हुने गरेको छ ।
खर्च कटाएर बार्षिक ५ देखि ७ लाख रूपैयाँभन्दा बढी आम्दानी गर्दै आएका एहशानले आफ्नो कृषि फर्ममा ३ जनालाई प्रत्यक्ष रोजगारी समेत दिएका छन् ।
